There is also a link called "Tacey's Prayer Warriors." This is a mapping feature that allows everyone to indicate where they live. This will help us estimate how far-reaching Tacey's story has become.
Tacey is a nine year old little girl with Bilateral Retinoblastoma. Tacey was diagnosed when she was 7 months old. After starting chemo, it was determined that it was too dangerous to keep her left eye due to vitreous seeding. Her left eye was removed when she was 9 months old. Tacey continued chemo and other treatments trying to save her right eye.
During the summer of 2006, it was determined that Tacey's right eye could no longer be saved. Tacey was able to attend the first week of First grade before her eye was removed. She then had to undergo chemo once again. Even though this chemo was very hard on her body, Tacey's spirit remained high!
Tacey adjusted to life without her vision very quickly! She gets around very easily. She rides horses, plays with friends and does whatever most 9 year old girls do!
Thank you for your prayers for Tacey. Each day is a new adventure with new possibilities. One of the possibilities we must always be ready to face is a new battle with her cancer. Please continue to pray for Tacey and our family!

Tacey Raye is a wonderful child with a gift of living life to the fullest. Even though she is blind and battling cancer, she doesn't let any of it get her down. She continues to keep her positive attitude.

A lot of people ask for specific prayer requests for Tacey. Here are just a few:
- Pray that Tacey keeps her dynamic, positive attitude.
- Pray that the chemo is successful and eradicates all of the cancer cells.
- Pray that Michael and Tammy are able to give Tacey the emotional support she needs while still meeting their own emotional needs.
- Pray that Tacey's body can endure the chemo that is so necessary.
- Pray that Tacey is able to stay healthy enough to stay out of the hospital.
- Pray that Tacey needs the minumum number of blood transfusions.
